Controlling Night Sweats - How I Took Control

If you haven’t gone through menopause yet, or you are nearing it, be ready for some great menopause symptoms.  Hopefully, you can sense that I am being sarcastic!  There are so many things that we get to deal with when we hit this wonderful time in our lives.  For me, controlling night sweats was one of the worst problems that I had.  For every woman, the menopause symptoms are different and what is the worse for them also differs, but if you’re like me, the night sweats were the worst!

When I hit menopause, like most women, I couldn’t wait for it to be over.  It was such a miserable thing that I was dealing with at first, and the biggest problem was that nothing was predictable, so I never knew if I was going to have night sweats, when the hot flashes were going to hit, and if I’d wake up moody and irritable.  It was basically a gamble every day.  I didn’t like the hormone replacement options that my doctor had offered me, I knew that there had to be something else out there that would help treat my menopause symptoms so that I didn’t have to deal with the full effect of them.
